We welcome artists of all stripes to participate with us on the solstice, whether or not they register to be on our official calendar. Come join us! If you’d rather listen, head to Post Office Plaza, Bell Buoy Park, Congress Square Park, Longfellow Square, Lobsterman Park, Porthole Restaurant, Rising Tide Brewery, Andy’s Old Port Pub, and Monument Square to see who’s making music.
2019 will include more family-friendly PLAY-ALONG events then ever before! Click here to learn more about our six PLAY-ALONG events planned for this year.
WHAT: Free music from talented local artists.
WHEN: SUNDAY, June 21 from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
WHERE: Public and private spaces all over Portland. We are still welcoming new venues. Want to host great, local, live music? Register to become an official MMP venue.
WHO: Local volunteers, dedicated musicians and performers, venue hosts, and you!
WHY: To celebrate summer, community, and artistic expression. Why not?!
Our festivities are completely free and everyone is welcome to join us on Sunday, June 21. This family-friendly event will feature a massive, day-long concert at spots all over greater Portland. We are still putting together the schedule, but check back in May for the event listings.
All of our performances are free, so grab your lawn chair and hang out. Or, if you’re musically inclined, bring your favorite instrument and join in the action.
