Make Music Portland 2026

Make Music Portland returns in 2026 for an eleventh day of free music.

We celebrate the longest day of the year with a series of free interactive events and concerts by artists from Maine and away. This year, our festival covers three sites in downtown Portland.

Lincoln Park hosts concerts, artists, vendors and food trucks. Just a few streets over at Post Office Park we’ll have family music, interactive events and learning sessions. And down the block on Milk Street, between Exchange and Silver, we’re hosting musicians throughout the day.

The mission of Make Music Portland is to showcase local music and bring free performances to the city on June 21. Want to join as a performer? Anyone is free to perform… learn more! Interested in hosting a show? If you’ve got a space that can be opened up for free performances, we’ll connect you with local musicians. Get started.
